A European Muslim Youth Gathering in Norway has called for fight against extremist ideology in order to combat terrorism. The gathering titled, “Al-Hidayah Camp” was organized by a Muslim socio-religious organization Minhajul Quran International last week. Chief of the organization Dr Tahir ul Qadri and Norwegian Immigration Minister were among the chief guests the opening session of the three day program. The gathering of 500 European Muslim youth pledged their support for peace and harmony in the world.
They asked the Muslims based in Europe to work for reconciliation and peace dialogue in the society in order to eradicate the extremism and racism.
According to the organizers of the program, the ideological struggle is very important as extremism is also an ideology and we can fight it through ideology of peace and prosperity which is real reaching of the religion. The grand camp was held in Sarpsborg near Oslo, the capital city of Norway.
Muslims Youth should build trust by their character in the society. They should follow the rules and regulations and cooperation the European governments in struggle against the evil elements of the society, the organizers said.
Al-Hidayah is a concept established by Minhaj-ul-Quran International in the recent year. It is a three day annual gathering which purpose is to provide an opportunity to the Muslim youth in order play a useful role for betterment the society.
